About Our Camp
Welcome!
Be our guest at the Upshur County Youth Camp to hear Whippoorwills calling, fires crackling, birds chirping and water rippling. Fish jumping, deer grazing and an occasional odorous visitor are some of the sights and sounds of nature you will encounter when visiting us in our truly grand setting along the Buckhannon River.
No cell service? No problem!
Depending on the time of year, you may encounter marching bands practicing formations, see soccer balls sailing through the air, or hear the laughter of those attending celebrations. On bright sunny days you may find Old Glory waving in the breeze, the waterwheel spinning and the dinner bell ringing. On any given night, you may hear the echo of a "How-How" across the way or witness the twinkling of stars in a clear moonless sky.
